Lacura Q10 Day Cream

Benefits:

• The cream is SPF 20 and rich in vitamins, which are vital for keeping skin smooth and ageless. (Q10, Provitamin B5 and Hyaluronic Acid)
• The smell is fresh and clinical.
• Price is around £2 - one of the cheapest on the market.
• Absorbs quickly into the skin.

Cons:

• Can leave the skin feeling greasy after application - use sparingly

Lipsticks are the one thing that I am obsessed with. I have probably every colour going and I still manage to buy one when I'm in Boots or Superdrug. The newest trend seems to be the matte, velvet look. After all the fuss surrounding the Kylie Jenner Lip kits and the custom tax I was put off and decided against them.

As I opened each one I could see the bright pigmented colours and the smoothness after applying them to my arm. The colours range from rich reds to prominent pinks and glide on evenly, dry and without leaving any residue or stickiness. This set of 24 colours will definitely keep me going for a while.

Since investing in my IKEA Dressing Table , I wanted to buy some of these acrylic holders to put on the top so I could organise my lipsticks and see what colours I have. Each holder has 40 spaces which are perfectly sized for not only lipsticks, glosses, pencils and liners but for other beauty tools such as tweezers and nail clippers too.

I bought this set after my Real Technique ones were becoming clogged of product and needed a wash. I ordered these as a stand in when the others were drying, but these have now become my everyday use.

They came individually wrapped and are shed free and super- soft to use. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a new set of brushes who doesn't want to pay a fortune!

YOU NEED THE REAL TECHNIQUE!

I have always enjoyed Pixiwoo's makeup tutorials on YouTube so when I found out that Sam Chapman had created the Real Technique brushes I had to have them. I started to look at the reviews, rating and comments on them. I was pleasantly surprised by the price of the brush sets (which compared to MAC are fantastically cheap) Don't get me wrong MAC brushes have served me well over the past couple of years, however because they are real hair they come at an expense and as a student I cannot afford £20 per brush! (talk about daylight robbery)

I can honestly say they are the best brushes I have ever had! and would recommend them to anyone because they are affordable, at around £20 for a set of four/five brushes. They are also synthetic hair so are perfect for all you anti animal testers out there and they don't absorb half the product compared to other brands I have tested.

I have the Core collection and the starter kit which are all good brushes and really make your makeup look brighter, fresher and natural. They are well made, stylish and soft on skin so again,  perfect for anyone who suffers from sensitive skin. My favourite brush is the Stippling brush from the core collection which I use for my foundation. Because of the way the brush is shaped it allows the product to glide around the face with ease, applying an even base and achieves that desired  dewy fresh,  airbrushed look to help every girl feel red carpet ready!

For my birthday this year I got an Olay Regenerist cleaning system which  promises good clean and radiant complexion. I thought oh!  the latest con machine that promises but never delivers! However I was gladly mistaken.
It comes in a small box which has everything you need to get started straight away, it even supplies the batteries so there was no hunting around the house for some spare ones. Before starting remove your makeup and tie back your hair. 
The brush has two speed settings, and slowly rotates around cleaning the face, and neck. As I started to use it I noticed how firstly quiet it is, but  secondly how it really cleanses the face and gets into the spot prone zones. (what a mouthful!) I have noticed a massive difference in my skin since I started doing this just three days ago and  is particularly good with the sides of nose and chin, which I suffer with more than anywhere else on my face.
To make sure that my skins PH stays balanced and doesn't dry out I like to use Simples Spotless Skin, Triple Action face wash, every other day,  to make sure that it's really tackling any potential spots. Its really nice to feel my skin after I have completed the 2 minute facial and feel smooth, cashmere like skin. it is especially good to use to make sure you buff away any dead skin and impurities after a big night out. (if you can be bothered) There isn't a bad thing about this product and I really recommend it.  If anything that put me off it would be the price as its a bit pricy at around £30,  and the cleansing serum you get doesn't really foam up well so you have to add plenty of water to your face or the brush. I like to then finish with L'Oreal's Revitalift moisturiser to make sure my skin stays hydrated.
